Chiropractic Care
Based on data from the 2002 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) found that chiropractic was by far the most commonly used therapy for back pain. 74 percent (approximately 4 million Americans) had used chiropractic. Among those who had used chiropractic for back pain, 66 percent perceived "great benefit" from their treatments.

Spinal Manipulation
Spinal Manipulation provides a comfortable, more effective way of treating pain associated with spinal dysfunction. Studies show this non-evasive procedure provides patients with a better health end result than most conventional care.
A 2010 review of scientific evidence on manual therapies for a range of conditions concluded that spinal manipulation/mobilization can be helpful for several conditions in addition to back pain, including migraine and cervicogenic (neck-related) headaches, neck pain, upper and lower extremity joint conditions, and whiplash-associated disorders.
Chiropractic care under a trained professional can even be used to prevent injuries and help you achieve total health or wellness.
Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is an ancient healing art with scientifically based therapeutic effects. Throughout the centuries, the healing powers of massage have been sought to promote relaxation and balance.
Gentle kneading and manipulation of the soft tissue stimulates blood circulation. This increase in blood carries oxygen and nutrition to areas of the body. It also helps toxins to be released from dormant tissues, thereby soothing the nervous system.
Massage is no longer just for relaxation…there are many medical benefits offered by massage which is why we often integrate massage with chiropractic care.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world. This therapeutic method aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body by using fine sterile, single-use needles.
Acupuncture is a form of meridian therapy that is virtually painless, and can be used to treat a variety of conditions that commonly include pain and spasm.
Acupuncture stimulates the body's own natural painkillers, called endorphins. Acupuncture is also thought to balance the energy, known as Chi, within the body, thus bringing about a better state of health.
Spinal Decompression Therapy
Spinal Decompression Therapy is FDA cleared and has a high success rate for pain associated with herniated or bulging discs...even after failed surgery. It is a non-surgical, traction based therapy for the relief of back and leg pain or neck and arm pain. During this procedure, by cycling through traction and relaxation phases and by proper positioning, a spinal disc can be isolated and placed under negative pressure, causing a vacuum effect within it. Because of that negative pressure, disc material that has protruded or herniated can be pulled back within the normal confines of the disc, and permit healing to occur.
Anyone who has back pain or neck pain caused in whole or in part by a damaged disc may be helped by spinal decompression therapy. These conditions include herniated, protruding or bulging discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica or radiculopathy (pinched nerves).
Your feet are the foundation of your body, supporting your whole body including spine and pelvic structure. Your feet also affect your knees, hips and back. As we age, the arches of the feet may settle like a foundation, which can cause misalignment and pain anywhere from your ankles to your neck. Some people just naturally have fallen arches, known as "Flat Foot", causing abnormal pressure on the arches, toes and ankles. These conditions often cause sharp pain in the heels or arch of the foot, known as "Plantar fasciitis" and "Heel spurs". Abnormal stress on the arches and bones of the foot and toes may also cause metatarsalgia and Morton's neuroma.
At Healthy Life ChiroCare, we specialize in the Footmaxx system.
If needed, we will recommend a pair of custom-made foot orthotics that will help bring your spinal pelvic structure back into alignment, easing knee, hip and back pain, or possibly preventing future occurrences of pain. Feel free to go to FootMaxx.com to see for yourself the many options available to you and give us a call for a complimentary consultation.
Shockwave Therapy - PiezoWave 2 MyACT system
Myofascial Acoustic Compression Therapy (MyACT) is used in the treatment of acute and chronic pain in muscles, tendons and joints. MyACT uses acoustic waves to target tissues at varying depths by compressing and manipulating the tissue, resulting in a focused, precise deep massage–like treatment. It's capable of delivering compression in deeper tissues not reachable with palpation. The process will flare a familiar pain being generated by the trigger point/injury but it will stimulate body's healing process by increasing metabolism and local circulation and ultimately leads to long term pain relief.
